Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650 m)

Arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest and acclimatisation to high altitude. Traditional Tibetan welcome dinner.

Days 2–3: Spiritual Heritage of Lhasa

Visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Sera Monastery. Walk along the spiritual Barkhor circuit.

Days 4–7: Road to Western Tibet

Scenic route through the Tibetan Plateau: Lake Yamdrok, Gyantse, Shigatse. Arrival at Lake Manasarovar — ritual bathing and camping.

Days 8–10: Kora around Mt Kailash (trekking)

The highlight of the journey. Three-day circumambulation of the sacred mountain, crossing Dolma La Pass (5,630 m). Accommodation in monastic guesthouses.

Days 11–12: Descent and Departure

home

Finishing the trek and the road back to Saga/Shigatse. Final flight or train from Lhasa. End of an unforgettable journey.
